The handbook is bound for hard wearing use.

The binding is black metal wire ring binding.

The covers front and back are tough black vinyl.

This handbook for the use of tramps and hoboes, has taken eighteen years to complete. I have added to it, altered it, condensed it, expanded it, checked the facts. Learned and added new pieces. I think I have finally written it correctly and finished.

I believe it is the best available book on the subject, and cannot see any improvement that I can make, at the moment . . .
